Meetings are usually held at the Commerce Bank Education Center on the campus of the Missouri Botanical Garden at 4344 Shaw Blvd. St. louis, MO 63110. Meetings are usually held on Sunday afternoons starting at 1:00 p.m.
Programs for meetings can be iris slide programs, speakers, iris work shops or whatever the general membership desires. A flower shows is usually scheduled in May. We have an annual MOBOT Public Iris Sale in August, a Picnic/Members’ Bearded Iris Auction in August, and a Holiday Pot Luck in December. Dates are usually set in January and communicated via email and on Facebook.
Members and guests have an opportunity to learn significant information about the different iris types, iris hybridizing directions and the latest varieties introduced for sale from around the world.
